The first half on New York Fashion Week has passed, the new fashion marathon has begun. Heartbeat of all fashion fans accelerates daily cos this is just the beginning of new fashion season. The first days brought lots of amazing fashion shows and stunning collections. In this post I'd like to share my favourites from this couple days.
Tunisan desidner Max Azria launched his first brand "Bon Chic, Bon Genre" (BCBG) in 1989. Nowadays BCBG Max Azris Group is a global fashion house with 6 Max Azria labels. The SS'15 collection is very structured, but soft and weightless with sun-bleached pastel patterns. The preference is given to midi and maxi dresses.

Nicky Zimmermann was inspired by Italian-American artist David Palladini and his authentic style which gave the collection a bit of mysticism.

The new Art Director of Hugo Boss Jason Wu presented restrained but very refined and sophisticated collection with a little hit of sex. Big attention was given to green and white with two provocative gowns with massive cutouts and open backs.

Monique Lhuillier was inspired by Bahamas landscapes with a sunrise-reflection-in-the-water palette.

The collection designed by Max Azria's wife Lubov is dedicated to strong, confident women. Some pieces remind a warriors outfits with kimono silhouettes, fierce but feminine. This is probably my favourite collection so far.

Despite just horrible models' faces the collection is stunning. Futuristic with some masculine pieces and high-wasted pants.

The last but definitely not least is a winner of four season (my favorite) of Project Runway Christian Siriano. Christian's stylistic if soft, feminine and flowing dresses this time a bit more structured. Some of textiles were inspired by American artist Tara Donovan who's known for site-specific installation art that's made of utilizes materials.
